Kids Rifle Training

Service Description

This class is designed to give kids a fun experience while learning to be safe and proficient with rifles. They will get a chance to shoot a variety of steel targets in order to get the satisfaction of seeing and hearing hitting the target. Makes for a more enjoyable experience than shooting paper targets. Items Covered: *Semi-automatic and bolt action rifles *Psychology of Being a Responsible Gun Owner *Firearms Safety Rules *Gun Range Etiquette *Required and Recommended Shooting Related Gear *Familiarize With Rifle Parts and Nomenclature *Firearms manipulation *Zeroing a Rifle *Basics of Rifle Marksmanship *Live Fire Practice (at paper and steel targets) *Learn about iron sight and scope usage *Shoot out to 200 yards for those that are ready *Rifles can be provided for those without a rifle for the class which include: Smith & Wesson M & P in 22 LR (semi-automatic) Ruger Precision Rimfire in 22 LR (bolt action) *Ammunition Provided *Experience can be recorded through spotting scope *Parent or legal guardian must be present the entire time *Parents/guardians of attendees must be able to legally purchase a firearm in the USA By appointment.
