Contact for possible appointment scheduling if set dates do not work. *Qualifies as prerequisite for Oregon Concealed Handgun License *Psychology of Being a Responsible Gun Owner *Firearms Safety Rules *Gun Range Etiquette *Required and Recommended Shooting Related Gear *Familiarize With Handgun Parts and Nomenclature *Firearms manipulation *Basics of Handgun Marksmanship *Learn about various stages of a trigger and relation to accurate and fast shots *Live Fire Practice *Handgun Cleaning *Four firearms to shoot if you do not have a handgun for the class. *Handguns include: Walther P22 double action/single action decocker 22 LR, Springfield Hellcat 9mm, Walther PPQ Q4 Tac 9mm with VortexVenom red dot, Rock Island FS HC Tac 9mm, Taurus TH9C *Client provides own ammunition (about 100 rounds) *Attendees must be able to legally purchase a firearm in the USA *All trainees can follow-up and use GDT as a resource regarding firearms related questions
